I had high expectations for this tent. Giga describes itself as a associates that caters to serious campers and hikers. Well if you dig further, they create quite a scant kids play tents. They should stick to those. The first tent we got was advent apart at the floor to tent body seam. No enormous agreement, seen this before. Sent it back to Campmor, they had a inexperienced one sent the next day. The next tent was fine until our third tour. First, we noticed that the tent body to floor seam was separating on this tent as well. This wasn’t the expansive bargain. During a rain storm, the leave leaked similar to a sieve. There is no excuse for a rain flee to leak. The 20 dollar walmart tents have flies that don’t leak. Giga’s do. These tents are made of extremely thin, reasonable taffeta nylon. Other well known makers, along with whomever constructs Ozark Trail (walmart) apply ripstop. The other issue is that they apply the identical diameter poles for the long cross poles as they do for the short poles. So you have a half inch fibergl…

We bought this tent for strand camping. We go every year and our family is regainting bigr. We wanted something that we could desk up in and be comfortable and that would last. The tent sets up very facilely along 2 citizen and is not impossible with one. The interior space is really great and the tremendous screens in the colossal accommodation actually let you originate the tent up for ventilation while the day. The one fault accompanying this tent is that it’s a little under-designed. The poles are the identical diameter and materials as the smaller tents from this associates, but the giganticr spans plan more strength and the poles gain bendy. We had it up for a week at the seashore together with the flee on and accompanying everything well staked out. It was nice and sturdy, but we started to have a few issues taking it down in a rainstorm. We had one pole that would not come apart, even together with 2 sets of pinchers. We had other pole along a broken chain cord, I assume from a manufacturing issue. A third pole bent as I was putting the …

I can not explicate how horrified I was when this tent collapsed on me and my husband on our first trip with it. before this I have owned only coleman tents but I wanted a business transaction. The last tent I owned for 5 years but it was tatered. I deffinately did not procure what I paid for. I camped at the seaboard, and the wind was blowing (like it always does at the strand) and the roof poles snapped like a blade of grass. Not one but 2 poles at the same time. I ended the last 3 days of my 6 day adventure along duct taped poles to catch my tent together. Thank god for duct tape. dont waste your funds.
